The United States is probably in the worst phase of the novel coronavirus outbreak. With the hotspot of the pandemic in New York City, the country has crossed the count of 615,246 coronavirus positive cases as the US death toll has reached 28,400. While President Donald Trump has shot down any prospect for the countrywide lockdown on the states, the dark clouds of the threat of COVID-19 can be seen over the US.

It seems that the nation is less concerned about the citizens than the economy. Besides this, The President has announced complete lockdown in California, New York and now in Illinois as well, but the situation is getting worse by every minute. With rapidly increasing numbers of confirmed cases, the US may need to undergo social distancing during the outbreak until 2022. 

The recent study found that over 2,200 people lost their lives in the United States in a single day on Tuesday, according to the Reuters, as the Trump Administration is still concerned about how to reopen its economy. The overall death toll for coronavirus in the US has reached 28,400 that is really a big concern for the government.
